Well, it has happened...the Sebenza gods are angry with me for replacing my EDC small sebenza with a Spyderco Leafstorm. I thought I had left my Small benza at my home so I didn't worry about it all week. (During the week I live 2 hours from home)

I finally came home and I've been searching for it for the past 3 hours with no luck.....I seriously feel sick to my stomach that I can't find her. Its not about the money, its about the fact that it has been my EDC since Dec 08 and was given to me as a graduation gift....
 
Oh man....I hate when that happens, I go nut's looking everywhere for the damn things! I'd really go nut's if it was one of my CRK's

My worst one's were...

wife was "cleaning" and it went into a box then to the attic for storage...it was "lost" for 2yrs before I found it.

Cold Steel Vaquero Grande XL...
went missing over a year ago...just found it last Saturday night behind my safe while looking for something else.

Hope you find your knife!
 
Check your pant pockets at home! I forget it sometimes in my pocket or in my belt sheath.
 
After the panic wears off, sometimes in a subconscious moment it will ocour to you were it was the last time you had it. think positive... Bart1
 
I try to be careful but I've misplaced any number of knives only to find them months later.

Don't panic -- I'm betting you'll find it. Buy some champagne or your favorite beverage to celebrate when the reunion comes.
 
I actually had a dream about my Sebenza...that and a GIANT bee..oh man this is getting bad...:foot:
 
For some reason that has me imagining you fighting off a giant bee using the Sebenza, but that aside, good luck finding your knife!

It was just a matter of time before we had the, "What's the best knife to fight off giant bees?" thread (Sebenza!). Seriously, hope that your sebbie turns up soon.

GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!! I found the Sebenza! Turns out she was hiding behind the TV in my bedroom at my apartment...I could have sworn that I had left it at home...but who cares!

When I looked behind my TV I litterally said out loud OMG!!! Then I proceeded to jump up and down like a little school girl holding the benza! I was on the phone with my GF and she said "I swear you love your Sebenza more then me....."

I feel so much better and I think I can finally sleep well tonight!
 
Time to let her down easy. She's on to you.

She never left my side yesterday until I went to bed. She was clipped in my slack pocket all day today and went back to work! The only time she will not be with me is when I have to drive through the border for work....on those days I carry my Caly 3.:foot:
 
Ever since I thought I lost my sebenza, it really showed me how much this knife meant to me. It has so much sentimental vaule that I don't know what I would do if I lost it...

I was given the benza as a graduation present in Dec 08, when I finished my undergraduate from the University of Washington. Right off the bat, I was able to pass the joy the knife brought. I built my friend's kids toy kitchen on xmas eve. Ontop of that, I used it to make kindling out of firewood to warm up a house when they ran out of power. Their child was litteraly blue in the hands and the benza came to the rescue, battoning through firewood to save the day....

Long story short, I went out and bought a new Small Sebenza 21 as a replacement. That way, if I happen to lose the new 21, I would be only out $330. Knives can be replaced but memories can't:thumbup:!
