I am getting my first sebenza (small 21) with graphics.

I wonder if i will actually use this knife ebcause of the graphics and fear of scratching it up. Does anyone use their graphic sebenzas? If so can Chris Reeve clean them up as much as a sterile one?

Oh and anybody with pics of their scratched up user graphic sebenzas is welcome to post-I would like to see one!....heck i would like to see any pics of graphic sebenzas. Whether scratched or not.

mine is a user, but i haven't had it too long. (lge reg).

the can refurb the surfaces, but it is my understanding they do not re-anodize the coloring.

I use my blue dog paws large 21 and it is developing a few character lines. I think Sebenzas get better looking with wear.

I thought the intent was to scratch 'em up ;) You could always make one a safe queen and purchase another as a user. Decisions, decisions

I use my large regular trapeze Seb quite abit, it is getting the typical pocket worn marks on the blasted lock side but the polished side is looking good still. It's not sterile, but I enjoy using it so it doesn't bother me, but then again I'm not you and I also think a Seb gets better looking as it's used. If it gets put in my pack or somewhere it's likely to get scratched or marred by something else, it goes in the leather slip case.

I've sold two UG's and a wood inlay because they were just to pretty for me to scratch up:o

I like the plain, or Micarta inlays. Neither has a shiney front side like the wood inlays and graphic sebbies. They(plain and Micarta) look better with use, but scrathces on the shiney ones bothers me a bit.
I also changed out the shiney pins/screws on my Micartas.
I EDC the small everyday.
