Have any of your Sebenza users felt it necessary to apply adhesive-backed panels (or anything else) to the titanium handle for extra traction? I'm wondering about using it in cold/wet conditions.

No, and I use mine for food prep occasionally (meaning it can get wet and slimy). If it's a concern, you could always get the micarta version.

Iv never had a grip issue with a sebenza ! The lock cutout locks your hand in place when you hold the knife and the micarta versions provide even more grip !!

nope. in my experience gimping and shape of the handle facilitate good grip, on both the small and the large. It's well thought out design, as well as the beadblasted finish on the scales, allow your hand to "lock" in.

It doesn't really feel like an extension of the hand, like a spyderco would. it instead feels like a really good, sturdy knife, and that's why i like it.
