Hello all, I am newer to the wonderful world of Chris Reeve Knives, and I have a question about my Plain Large 21 I purchased "new" from a forum member a while ago. It's no big deal at all, but I just wanted to know why one TI slab says "C12" and the other "B13". Does that mean that the knife was sent back for warranty and one side was replaced or "refurbished"? Just wanting to know, since the birth card did not say anything about warranty repair. I also have a Cocobolo, and both sides match on them. I have tried researching this topic, and can not find anything at all. Maybe I'm not searching for the right subject, but I figured I'd just ask. Please let me know anything about it that you guys might know, as I love learning more about these awesome blades!

Best,
Kevin

Nyefmaker has a very good post.

An easier way for Sebenzas made in recent years might be......the letter A-D is the quarter of the year and the numbers are the year it was made.

This is just basic info I picked up a few years on CRK.

Thanks for the info guys! I'm not worried about it, just curious how they categorized them. Thanks!
