This might sound dumb but it's buggin me. I have a few week old large 21 that's never been used. Two days ago I saw something on the non-lock ti slab. I think it was just water from my water glass that I keep near me??

I picked up a rag nearby and wiped it off. Now the front part of the slab, from the pivot 1/2 way back is a slightly different (lighter) color than the rest of the titanium on the knife. Definitely wasn't a solvent or a carbonated drink etc.

Is there anything I can use to wipe it down or make it the same color again. Thanks! :)

Found the answer in Google search leading back to an old thread here. :)

Hot water with dihwashing liquid on soft cotton cloth I used one of my clean T shirts. Slopped it on the slabs both sides and DIDN'T scrub - slightly moved the cloth around for a couple of seconds under the still running, hot water faucet. Dryed by patting it on dry part of T shirt and hitting it with blow dryer on High setting and it's all the same color again.
