Hi not sure if I'm supposed to post this here but I just received my large sebenza 21 today and the hardware on the presentation side is different than the hardware on the lock side, the lockside screws are a lot deeper than the presentation side just wondering if that is normal? I owned a large 21 a few years ago but I don't recall whether or not the hardware was the same

Thanks in advance for your responses

Some pics would help. Typically, the screws are domed shaped and the slab is chamfered for the screw to sit in. Some of the older Sebenza's I've seen are slightly counter sunk.
It doesn't sound normal.

Pics would be good, but I'm pretty sure it's normal, if it's what I'm thinking of. The lockside hardware is the nut and the show side is the screw. The depth of the bit threads are different on those, at least on more recent CRKs.

Pic from my Umnumzaan for reference:

Is the difference in depth on hole in the clip screw, pictured here above and the hole in the nuts, below the same as what you're talking about?

Or are you saying the screw heads are significantly proud on one side, but not the other? In that case disregard everything I said above, lol.

Yes if you are referring to the hex hole. As one side is the male and the opposite is the female screw, same goes to the pivot too.

Completely normal, the male screws aren't as deep because they don't have female threading. The hardware on the lockside are female threaded, or in other words, hollow.

Think of it like nuts and bolts.
