My large Sebenza is slightly different from regular production. Can you shed some light on it?

Large
Polished blade
The clip has the word "Sebenza" on it. Looks like laser etching.

At the Blade Show someone mentioned that it may have been a dealer request from Florida.

Can you tell me who this dealer was?

When it was made?

How many were made?

Blade material?

Thanks!

Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, if he gets angry, he'll be a mile way - and barefoot.

Frank:

I’m afraid that this answer may seem sketchy but… here goes!

Anne is thinking that the dealer was Earl Stewart of Central Florida Knife & Tool, which is no longer in business. (Earl started Knife Forums and sold it to James Nowka last year.) Earl did the etching on the clip. Sorry... but we do not know how many were made. The knives were the new design with BG 42 for the blade material. As far as the polished blade, that was just an option that he ordered. The time frame for these knives would have been mid ’98 to mid ’99.

I hope this helps,
Mark
