Sebenza in the pocket

I was wondering how everyone carries their sebenzas.

I have an issue with carrying it in my right front pocket because I have car keys and loose change floating around.
I've pulled the knife out before and there was a penny stuck up the back side of the sebenza (where a backspacer would normally be). I'm worried that this will dull the blade from continuous rubbing.
Does anyone else have this problem? (Can't carry in my left pocket because it has my iphone. Can't carry in my back pocket because I'm worried about it falling out when I sit down).

Anyone have suggestions?

I do - But my fix is:
In my right front pocket I carry my wallet and a single folder (Strider SnG) and nothing else. My left front pocket houses my HTC and non abrasive items (1 Sharpie & 1 pen). I would recommend trying this configuration for a couple days and see how it works out. I don't really use cash much, Debit cards rule!

I may end up getting a protective case (not a sleeve or skin) for the phone as it wopuld free up a pocket if it rode on the belt. I could then use that pocket for the wallet and use the RFP for another knife.

Adding another bulky item to my keys is not an option, much less dropping one into my pocket.

get the CRK slip sheath?

I have used the slip sheath, until i lost it, for a while and it was good and keeping my sebenza from bumping into the rest of the stuff in my pocket. I usually just clip it to my pocket.

I carry my Sebenza in a horizontal leather sheath by Vess Leatherworks. It holds the knife quite securely and is nice and slim so it's pretty much unnoticeable by you and other people.

I don't keep anything in my pocket with my knife. I do use the leather CRK slip sheath on occasion.

I bent the clip in a little so it would grip better
and it rides well in my back right pocket every day
and I have never lost it.

Same here.

Sometimes I'll toss a small business card case and pen in there but that's it. Wallet goes in back, flashlight & misc goes in my left. When I'm on the train or walking from Penn to work the CRK goes in the slip case.

I carry a chawly changer everyday, I hate loose change, but always need a little. It disappears in my pocket, not too thick.

I don't understand the point of carrying a knife with a clip in a pouch.

To stop the police from bugging you (and possibly relieving you) of a $400 knife. :D

I have the same problem with mine. IMO it is the only shortcoming of the Sebenza. I keep coins out of the pocket where my Seb resides now and the problem has largely been eliminated. The edge does still occassionally get dulled by my keys however.

i find that when i clip it to the inside of my pocket it still sits high enough to not interfere with coins or whatever that lays at the bottom of my pocket.

Put mine in my cargo pants pocket leg pocket. If it is in my front pocket, it is the only thing in that pocket.

With any tool that might be used for SD, it's best to have a dedicated pocket and whatever pocket you choose should be the same one every time. No change-keys-glasses-just the knife.
Should you ever need it, you'll be able to locate it automatically.

This is one of the reasons that my primary edc changed from a lrg Sebenza to a SnG. I love the backspacer on the SnG.

With that being said, I have my Sebbie with me now but I'm at work and won't have any change in my pocket so it's a non-issue tonight.

Clipped in right front pocket. No issues with coinage. Might switch to a sheath, if I get it cleaned up...

I carry one folder clipped to my right front pocket with nothing else in it every day. I then carry my car keys, drivers license and debit card in my left front pocket. Thats all I ever need on the weekdays.
