It's a good thing you're just joking. Otherwise, I might have to track you down and give you a good "smack-down".

Just joking.:D :D

It's Saturday night & I've already had too much popcorn for my own good. If I havn't become inebriated on the stuff yet, it seems to me that I read an article in one of the knife mags regarding an interview with Chris Reeve. According to the article he is opposed to the ownership of auto knives. Kinda like saying that semi auto rifles cause crime? I don't think that I'm hallucinating here???? Anyway, because of this article I got rid of my fixed blade knife from Chris Reeve.

Kinda like saying that semi auto rifles cause crime?

Actually...no, it's not.

Only idiots think that crime depends upon ANY type of weapon and I do not think that Mr Reeves is an idiot.

Getting rid of your CRK knife because you don't like Chris Reeve's stance on automatic blades is like pouring out French wine to get back at the French. You already paid for it -- since CRK (or the French wine industry) already got your money, what you do with it now is your own business. Why not just make use of what you've got (or had) -- a really good knife -- and refuse to buy any more CRK knives?

I'm with Manila Folder. IF Reeves did say that, then F*** him.

That's on par with the eminent pistol-maker who publicly stated that he thought a limit of 10 rounds was enough for any pistol magazine. That 10-round limit soon became law.

There are enough people who think defensive weapons are the embodiment of evil and would like to severely restrict or remove the rights of citizens to possess any weapon. They don't need any assistance.

Chris stated that he was not interested in making automatic knives as he didn't see the advantage to them. If he was against the concept he would not have helped Microtech get off the ground.

End of Trial by Internet.

EXCEPT for the verdict.........Not guilty by reason of producing the best production knife available!!

"F*** him" ? ? ?

Buy a sebenza and you might get some leg!

Manilla Folder, you mis-understood the article. You should have kept the knife.
