Sebenza Lanyard Question

I like the lanyard on my large Sebenza 21, but want something jazzier. Couldn't find any in stock online or at CRK. Does any one know of some one who makes these using a CRK pin with a bead or spacer? Is it hard to make my own? Not a big deal Just would like one. Thanks.
 
I buy spare pins from CRK and send them to one of the makers here and he makes me whatever I want on the factory pin...they look great.

What do they charge for just the pin? Do you remember? I might pick up a couple of smalls and larges.
 
I went the Youtube route, and was able to make a passably cool lanyard….Not great, but workable…. not enough patience.

Glad you are liking it. I really need to get a few pins so I could just offer lanyards with them already tied on.
I also have an idea about making some cool pins,got to experiment to see if they will work.

Man I'm glad you posted...I felt bad because I couldn't remember who did the work. That lanyard you made is primo. I need to get more pins and have you make some more as well as a few for my XMs.

My Sebenza is off to CRK. Waiting for return and then I will contact you. I started researching lanyard beads. I got lost. It sounds like the right bead with your lanyard on the pin is what I would like. Thank you for your appearance on this thread.

Thank you. Like it a lot. I'm going to have CRK sell me a couple of extra pins when they send my Sebenza back.

I am always looking for other beads but you would be surprised how hard they are to find at a decent price.
 
I was thinking of puting a decorated chainring bolt in the spot where the lanyard pin goes. Just having trouble sourcing the right fit. I'm thinking a skull, or something mean like that. Anyone have any ideas?
