OK, so Im a very happy owner of my first small Sebenza 21. Everything is perfect about the knife except for one minor annoyance I noticed. When the knife is closed and lanyard is up against the handle (eg. in my pocket) the blade is rubbing on the lanyard and cutting it up. Anyone else notice this?

I too have the same issue. Since the knife is so great I really don't mind. I think that I'm doing something wrong instead of the knife...

Same thing happened to me with my first Small Sebenza 21. Obviously the lanyard's purpose is to not be contorted in such a way, but sometimes it happens and it does fray the lanyard a bit. I don't like lanyards much to begin with and are taken off in most cases.

That was happening to me too. I re-tied the lanyard so that one end is longer than the other. This way, when the lanyard is straight, it's not facing the edge of the knife.

Here's a quick crappy diagram to show what I'm talking about.
