I haven't posted in a while although I have been checking in from time to time. I just got some extension tubes for my camera and thought I would try some macro shots of a few of my Sebenzas.
I tried to focus on some of the salient features of the knife.
What do you guys/gals think?

I really came to appreciate the tolerances of these five parts as I was assembling this shot.

Very nice! I like the red reflection in the lugs on the second picture. Great macro pics, amazing how even zooming in on these still makes them look like works of art.

Those shots are fantastic. I love the closeups of the jimping. You can really get a good idea of how there cut. Great job!!

Precision, up close.

I love the shot with the female Chicago screw inside the bushing inside the washer and blade.

Beautiful!

Thanks for all the great feedback everyone!
It was really fun focusing on these knives once again, it has been too long.

jackthedog, I am using a Canon DSLR and 28-70mm lens with extension tubes.

Thanks! I've been wanting to get a macro lens. I keep spending my money on knives though...

Well somebody resurrected the Zaan thread so I went digging for the sebenzas! I love these pics. I wish somebody with talent would do some more in a portrait configuration so I could use them for phone wallpaper.
