sebenza newbie questions

after a lot of thought i have just ordered my small sebenza and have a 4/6 week wait,and while waiting i have some questions.
1. at what angle do i sharpen using a lansky system.
2. is the s30v steel ok in a marine inviroment
3. can i purchase a custom handle later
4. is the sebenza all it is cracked up to be(im sure it is from all the info i have read,but having never handled one.....)
i am based in the uk so this is a rather large purchase for me but have wanted one for a long time.

1. at what angle do i sharpen using a lansky system.

Seriously get a 204 Sharpmaker by Spyderco. Otherwise use between 15deg per side (sick sharp) or 20deg per side (shaving sharp, better toughness)


2. is the s30v steel ok in a marine inviroment

No steel really is, though X15 and Cobolt based materials are ok.

3. can i purchase a custom handle later

Contact Bridget at CRK, if you can wait, the answer is normally yes to most anything!

4. is the sebenza all it is cracked up to be(im sure it is from all the info i have read,but having never handled one.....)

Prepare to be slightly disapointed a first... A few days later you will realise all the 'little' details that make this knife what it is. Then you will realise it realy IS as good as we all say!
