Which should I go with? Looking for an EDC with jeans at work, light cutting tasks.

If sodbuster, which maker for less than a Sebbie?

If Sebbie, whom should I buy it from?

Thanks!

Check out Keith Johnson's work over in the Knifemaker's forum. Click on For Sale: Folders and you will see he just sold a nice chocolate paper micarta sodbuster there last night. That would be the way to go.

Great question! I wrestled with this one.
Sodbuster= A classic folder. It will work all day for you.
Sebenza A modern classic folder. It will work all day for you.
GOOD LUCK!!
I like the pocket clip. ;)

I would look at Keith (KR Johnson) for a great Sodbuster.

I prefer my Sebenza, but the Sodbuster I had from Keith was excellent.

Is there a reason you have chosen a sodbuster? Nothing at all wrong with sodbusters, but there are so many choices in slipjoints and lockbacks that might meet your needs. Depending on your work, if I were wearing jeans in I would probably look at a backpocket knife, or a barlow for the front pocket, or a wharny trapper....so many choices. I own and love Sebbies and other custom tac/utilities, but hate carrying them at work where everyone sees you have something in your pocket (again depends on your workplace).
