Having recently started a thread "Sebenza, is it over rated", I pulled the pin and ordered one. Having stated earlier that the standard model looked a bit bland I've gone the whole hog and ordered a lge Sebenza with damascus blade and mammoth ivory inlay, wait time is 12 months, will give me time to save. Unfortunately it will become a safe queen but I promise to fondle it regularly I'm too poor to risk losing it and here in Australia it's officially illegal to carry anyway. Like most Forum members the longer I'm here the more expensive my tastes get, my highest end folder so far is a Yuna Hard1. Oh well thanks for converting me Sebenza fans, Hope you're right.

I cant afford a Sabenza but if i could, why not? Everything I heard and read about it has been positive. Enjoy it mate!

You won't be able to hold out the 12 months. My guess is you'll be picking up a plain jane one (or two, three, four) between now and then. ;)

Congrats on your new Seb.

Can't you even carry it if you're out fishing or camping,hunting...etc??

I am definitely no expert on the mater, but am pretty sure if we have fishing or hunting gear with us it would not be an issue. However you really don't want to be caught with one in a pub or city though....

Thrustus, congrats on the Seb order, it sounds like a beauty! Your patience should be commended, I have problems waiting for 1-2 weeks after an order.

You need to get one in the mean time that will become your user. The only way you will be able to keep a Sebenza as a safe queen is if you have at least one user.

BTW congrats, sounds like a very nice combination

Good one! I am thinking of getting a smaller version in a few months and I live in New Zealand. Have you read the Australian import thread we have here on Bladeforums? By the looks of it, customs is seizing a LOT of folding pocket knives.
