Would someone please explain the "P" and "H" series
of Sebs.I believe the "H" is pre 1993 and actually hand made by Mr. Reeve. The "P" I don't have a clue. Also where are these letters located?
Thanks
Jeff

The "H" indicated that the knife was "handmade by Chris Reeve." The "P" indicated that the knife was a "production" piece.

As far as for specific dates. . .you need to e-mail St James. . . He's the resident expert on the Sebenza. :)

The "P" or "H" is located just to the right of the "CR" logo on the knife's handle. You have dates right, when Chris started using a CNC mill in 1993 he marked the knives with the "P" to indicate it was production, where before it was indeed "H" for handmade.

Awww Come on stjames no pics to illustrate what you are talking about. I would have expected more from the resident expert. Considering I use your collection pic as my wallpaper.;)

I believe that the P stands for prototype.

You are mistaken. They dropped the "P" when they changed the design to prevent such misconceptions.

Hard to find.

High priced.

Highly coveted.

This commercial was brought to you by the letters H, C, R, and K. :p :p :p
