Have two of these Large Plain Sebenzas' coming with dual thumb lugs ... all I have now though is this pic to stare at all day long until they arrive!

Half the fun is the wait, but it sure does take a toll on you while waiting!

So, for now this pic will have to do!

Mark

P.S. Have I mentioned this before? Can you tell I'm excited?

Hiya Mark

From your other posts I assumed you already had one?I received mine, large plain, last week.It really is a lovely knife...fits perfectly in my small hands...action is smooth....the handle takes getting use too...different from G10 scales and micarta which I am more accustom too.
I'm extremely cautious not to scratch it just yet.I don't usually carry a large folder(like my Military or Commander) I usually carry an AFCK 812...so I ordered a small classic 2000 with dual thumsstuds and polished hollow grind....I'm so damn impatient I bidded on a NIB small seb two days ago..and I won..DOH!...so now I have a small plain on the way to keep my sanity in the 6-9 months wait for my plain classic and dec. classic from CR.
If you can get one cheap get one now...the wait will kill you...I'm waiting for a LDC Walter Brend...I feel cancelling..it's killing me.

Thanks for the suggestion HC Leo, but I'll wait. I like ordering straight from the horses mouth anyway, that way I will get them when they are first born and direct from the master cutlery Chris Reeve Himself. Also I can bring them up from day 1 just like a newborn

Granted though, the wait is long but will be worth it in the long run! At least it isn't as long of a wait as waiting for a human child to be born, right? !!

Don't have the duals but do have the large and it's a beaut! One cutting machine to be sure!

Although I prefer the small Sebenza for everyday chores, I wouldn't give up the large one for anything, so your wait will be more than worth it.

A word of caution, if you dissasemble it you might want to look over StJames post of FAQ which will help you put it back together, a little off on the washers and it's stuckville so take care and just go slow if you take her apart!

Nice pic, where did you get it from?

Got the pic thanks to jc, a member at KnifeForums.com. He posted it for me at the Chris Reeve Forum there a few weeks ago. THANKS JC!

He just got this one and said this is the new Large Sebenza like the ones I am going to be getting. I do agree, it looks fantastic and that swedge makes my mouth water!!

Mark

PS.
G2, how long have you had yours now? A small and a large, you lucky guy you

I would like to see even a larger Sebenza, like maybe a 4" blade, but this will do me fine, I'm sure!
Thanks too G2 for the tip regarding assembly of the Sebenza! By the way, does Anne or Chris Reeve ever reply to here?
