So I nearly had a heart attack today when I noticed that my Sebbie had over 90% lockup when I was playing with it. I've only had it for 7 months and I was pretty close to sobbing like a little girl. Then I realized the screw right beneath the pivot screw was loose so I tightened it back up and now my lockup is at 50%. Very wierd but just proves what incredibly tight tolerances this thing is built to :thumbup: . In fact I made a thread maybe a month or so ago complaining about a 70% lockup and I'm guessing the screw just kept getting looser looser as I was edcing it. The screw was probably loose when I took it apart to clean a few months ago. Anyway just a random story and wanted to give CRK some props on an amazing knife and I'll be getting an Umnumzaan for Christmas so I cant wait to see what that is all about as well.

It's odd that that particular screw loosened on you. I have only had a pivot screw (small 21) loosen a bit, and only after much use. Even with a loosened pivot, though, the knife still performed flawlessly! That's precision for ya'!

Yeah I'm almost positive that the screw was loose to begin with when I took apart the knife to clean nearly 2 months ago and I just forgot to tighten it all the way down. I love how everything fits together so precisely.
