I love Sebenza's but hate the way the handles scuff and mark. After trying several blasting media's. Ceramic glass beads have given me the best results. The small Sebenza in the attached pictures was refinished last year. It has been a daliy carry knife and hasn't been babied. Larry

I've been using 60 grit aluminum oxide. What grit glass beads did you use? I assume by your post that you achieve a more course finish than the original CRK finish.

Richard. it's a much finer finish. I tried a course finish and it didn't hold up well. Larry

I've seen people try to claim that CRK uses poor Ti because of how easy the handles scratch, and tried to tell them that it's just the coarse, rich finish they use.

I like the finish. It feels softer than finer finishes, and I love the way a pocket worn Sebenza looks.
