Sebenza refinishing question

Hello, I already emailed CRK but it might take them a while to get back to me- thought you crk guys could help me out.

1 I got my large sebenza 21 second-hand and the handle looks "antique" even though it's a 1 year old knife. Do they charge extra to clean and polish the titanium handles? I tried cleaning it myself with a Hoppe's 9 gun rag, didn't do much.

2 Can they refinish my polished blade into a stonewash? And would this make the blade thinner to where I should be careful?

1) They sandblast the handles and you will be charged for the service.
2) I'm sure they can stonewash it, but I don't see why it would thin out the blade to any significant degree.

I'm guessing CRK does not polish ti slabs. I've seen some sebenza 21's in a store that were USN engravings with polished blade and polished handle, guess that was done by someone in USN

The USN Sebenza is a different beast. You can polish the handle slabs yourself too.

green scothbrite pad will give it that polished finish and give it the antiqued look
I'm curious about this. When you speak of the scotchbrite pads, are you talking about the same scouring pad I use on my dishes?
And would that match the satin finish that CRK usually puts on their polished knives?

I have a Sebenza that was scuffed up quite a bit, and CRK 1) would not polish the sandblast and 2) would not refurbish it due to the graphics. If possible I'd like to refinish the handles to something with more of a satin polish look without completely obliterating the graphics or scratch up that sapphire.

This is what it looks like now:

This is how I would like it to look:

Does CRK sell sebenza clips? I see they sell the inserts and screws, but could not find info on clip replacements.
I suppose they can just sandblast the clip along with the ti slabs and it will look like new, wonder how much they'll charge me for that.

Also my lockup is around 85% but apparently that's pretty common so I'll let it go until I get blade play or lockup problems

It seems like you avoiding an actual phone call. Why? Just call them Monday morning and ask them how much they charge for all you want done. :)

LOL you found me out, I'm a rather impatient person, maybe a tad non-social at that. Will do that tomorrow if they don't email back by then.
