Yeah, that's an agreeable statement, hehe. :) I especially am fond of them now that thanks to blackend I have this coming Monday (attachment, I want to post it big in the post, but I think you need to have the pic web hosted or something). Anyway, she's a beauty!

BTW blackend, what's up with that first seb you have posted? Rounded handle slabs? Cool! :eek:

Do you do the "melt" job on your Sebbie? Does CR offer this? I have a Classic Seb and would love some sort of decoration on it, and I know CR doesn't engrave anything except the newer Seb style. I was thinking about having it "snakescaled" or some other treatment a la a 1911 pistol front strap. Anyone do this?

The meltdown and fizz pattern was done by Matt Cucchiara at www.cucchiaraknives.com. You can request a special type of Fizz for your knife. Matt's pretty good at doing what you like. You can see other posts in this forum on the subject. I asked for a special tribal pattern for my large flat ground pictured. As far as doing a snakeskin pattern like say, Ed Browns "Cobra Carry", I don't know. It's something you will have to discuss with Matt. It would be cool though! ;)

Matt has actually stopped doing Sebenza Meltdowns temporarily. :(
 
Man you guys have some BEEYOUTEEFULL Sebenzas! Makes me want to add another to my ever growing collection! Well, I have a Large Classic and a Small Regular. I think I need to get a Large Regular. I like the blade shape better, it looks beefier or something. I also like the ridges around the handles. Hmmmm, wonder where I can find a Large Regular??? :confused:
 
well I got the small custom. It is the high circle small regular. Sure like it. Much lighter than my large regular but still like both. Will carry the small most of the time but like the large out in the field(like mtn. biking, camping, etc.). Chris just does a great job with his knives.

It is real addictive. Have two sebenzas now and like both extremely. BUT still looking at getting more! Enough said about their quality.
