Does anyone have pictures of a Sebenza with a full sized custom scale. Most ti frame lock folders, Yuna, Kershaw etc have a full sized scale.IMO the 2 tiny strips of micarta, ivory or exotic wood on a Sebenza look cheap and cheesy. Discounting the Sebenza cult who will want me boiled in oil for asking, is there a sane reason they do this. Maybe they already exist but a dream knife for me would be a damascus bladed Sebenza with a full one sided mammoth ivory scale.

I believe it is a design decision, I prefer the annual inlay to the one on the classic/21 that you describe as well. A full mammoth ivory scale would be more fragile than one that is protected like an inlay.

Now where did I put that vat of boiling oil???

That 's cause they're called inlays and not partial scales. They are anything but cheap.

I have to agree, I dont like the look of the inlay sebenzas. I dont think they look cheap though. I prefer them without the inlay, but the annual ones look a lot nicer IMO.

The best place for the question, why small inlays rather than a full scale, would naturally be the CRK forum.
Given your insulting tone towards the manufacturer and buyers, it is just as well you did not post there.

Couldn't you think of a less confrontational approach, or didn't you want to?

Most of us Aussies are a thick-skinned bunch who enjoy a bit of humour.

Thick skinned is not a quality that prevents a person from engaging in courteous discussion. I have lots of friends from and in Australia from Sydney to Redbank Plains, none of them would agree with you. For whatever it's worth. ;)

How is any of the original post humor? I don't think you know what humor is. Maybe you meant thick-headed not thick-skinned? And no, I'm not referring to all Aussies.... if that was missed.

It's not funny.
I may not like certain companies, or what certain companies do with their knives, and I may not understand why people may like certain things... but I'm not rude about it and I speak my opinions in a friendly funny manner, not putting anyone down or being mean about it. No need to insult anyone, even if you do disagree.
