Sebenza Sharpening

I am a fairly new owner of a Sebenza. The only problem is trying to sharpen it. I used the sharpmaker as recommended by CRK but it did nothing but hit the bevels. The bevels on my knife seem overly large and are uneven (which is frustrating but not the point here). Am I doing something wrong?

No you did nothing wrong, IMO send it back, and specifically ask that it be sharpened such that it can be resharpened on the sharpmaker.
