Does anyone use their Sebenza to clean/dress game? I've not had the opportunity yet, but it seems like it could work well...

What are the handles like wet?

Cleaned out a few pheasent and a helped clean out a doe this year. Worked like a charm. :D :thumbup:

I think it would do the task just fine. The only thing I don't like about using a folder as a skinning/gutting knife is that they are an absolute PITA to clean.

I have. I have skinned a Whitetail with it, it done a heck of a good job too! My wife has used it several times to skin chickens that we raise for meat. She said it was her favorite knife to use for skinning. All you gotta do is take the Sebenza apart and clean her spotless.

Been there Done that, Yep just need to take a little time for a good cleaning when you're done. Handles aren't slippery.. at least not the plain handles. I don't have one of those fancy dress sebenzas... Yet! later Grizz

I've used both a small and a large Sebenza to dress, maybe, five deer.

Last time I used the small and I remember thinking it was adequate;
barely. While I prefer a smaller knife for most chores; to me a sub-three
inch blade on a 90-125 pound deer makes it a little more of a chore.
It's not so much the meat; it's the bone. Most times, I only use a knife, so it needs to work through joints, tendons, smaller bones, etc.
The large Sebenza worked better. No problem with either regarding the
handle... Incidently; the large is a classic; the small is a regular.
