I know asking these questions is pointless, as CRK will do exactly what they please. If they listened to me, we would have a large Mnandi, and a Small Umnumzaan in the catalogue, and we don't, so I get it!
However......lately I have been dreaming of a Small Sebenza 21, with the same thin blade stock used on the Mnandi. I realize, at least for me, there is almost no benefit to having an "overbuilt" knife for the tasks I typically undertake at work, and at home. I am sure the same is true for many tradespersons and homeowners etc, which is why Olfa knives, and steak knives, and paring knives, and box-cutters are typically made from very thin stock. The benefit of anything "overbuilt" is generally psychological when it comes to your average EDC task.
Anyways..........who would be interested in a "thin" sebenza slicer? Not crazy thin, but thin like the Mnandi.
