Sebenza thumbstud wear

Anyone know if the gold thumb studs wear as fast as the blue ones do? Is it just a gold anodizing or what is the process they use to achieve their gold color? Plan on getting a 31 ASAP as my first CRK.

Both anodized titanium both wear like all anodized titanium & look better with use IMO.

Disappointing they don't just use brass. My only slight caveat I have found with mine. Other than that it is a very satisfying knife to own and use.
Hell if mine wears off I'l just turn one from brass and press it in.

These knives are expensive enough you think it would be solid brass.

I totally agree and I would also like another steel option next time I drop half a grand on one of these knives? Yet I have a feeling I'm going to pick up another crk by next Easter.

I've never owned one. Probably won't. I've handled them..they are nice but not $500 nice.
I do like the Idaho Made thing. That's pretty cool, though.

Fantastic knives.... the thumb stud wears pretty quickly however. Both blue and gold.

That's the least of my worries... my Sebbie 21 will likely outlast me, including the thumb stub.
