Anyone know if the gold thumb studs wear as fast as the blue ones do? Is it just a gold anodizing or what is the process they use to achieve their gold color? Plan on getting a 31 ASAP as my first CRK.

These knives are expensive enough you think it would be solid brass.Sure enough.https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/thumb-stud-anodizing-longevity.1489420/#post-17140861
Disappointing they don't just use brass. My only slight caveat I have found with mine. Other than that it is a very satisfying knife to own and use.
Hell if mine wears off I'l just turn one from brass and press it in.
