Sebenza Ti powder coated ?

will the oven affect the Ti ?

i have a freind that does it, so special care can be given.

Doubt the heat would hurt the Ti, but that added thickness is going to screw everything up.

you mean the blade not the handle, right?

There was a guy, Doc Welch, RIP, that had a few coated sebs and some other people have had it done. I believe those al where vapor deposition or similar, likely much thinner then powder coat. Liekly the bushing wouldn't fit anymore and be too short, and it wouldn't engage the lock correctly.

i was planning to coat just the edges and outside flats, leave the inside
untouched...

As long as you mask off where the bushing and thrust washers contact the handles, you should be fine. But why hide that finish under a coating that will just make it slick?
