I know the Sebenza vs. Bradley Alias has been beat to death around here, but I am not sure if my question has ever came up. Is there a difference in the quality of titanium used by these companies? Is one harder than the other? Does one ti wear better than the other?

Thanks,
John

Well I don't know if there is a difference in the end result, but both and every Titanium foler I have seen use 6Aluminum 4Vanadium in their Titanium. My shot in the dark would be that they use similar processes.

I have noticed that the finishing colors and textures slightly vary from the few variants of Ti RILs I own.

They buy Ti from an independent manufacturer, so they can't directly regulate the quality of their Ti. 6AL4V is going to have the same properties batch after batch tho, they should be exactly the same quality. The only difference will be in finish and design of the handles.

I have a few CRKs and a couple Bradley Alias. I dont find any difference in the wear or the quality of ti from either company.

Thanks guys for the help. I seem to remeber reading something in the Balisong forum where the titanium was softer on the Cold Steel Arc Angel when compared to BM's Balisongs. This made me question the titanium between the Sebbie and Alias.
