Hey folks, my coming "new years resolution" is to finally get a large southpaw Sebanza!

But I wanna get my ducks in a row and make sure I know what I need to before buying one.

I see "Regular", "Classic" and "21" used to refer to Sebenzas, but am not sure what the differences are????

Well, if you are buying brand new, your choice is easy as there is only one kind, the "21", which is just a classic with some extra bevelling here and there.

Classic has a slightly pointier blade profile and a round notch to the unlock bar, as opposed to the regular.

Anyway I'd suggest buying used here on BF and save $$.

Thanks Dave, I watch the sale forums sometimes, but southpaw ones seem to show up rarest of all!

I kinda like the idea of the "21", seems it would be more pocket friendly??

Some of the dealers, like Neil at True North Knives and Dan at Plaza Cutlery, have a good selection of lefties. Last time I looked, they still had discontinued models, so if they're not cleaned out, you may still be able to suffer the agonizing "which one" dilemma . . . :D

Best of luck with it!
