Sebenza vs. Inyoni (warning! knives in use, blood involved)

Well, during my Great Lakes trip last week I did a "side to side" test of CRK Inyoni vs. my all_time_benchmark Sebenza. The goal was to clarify finally, how good is Inyoni as a B&T knife. Two trouts, two knives, one operator and... let's do it!

After 15 minutes or so the verdict was clear for me. Inyoni is a clear winner in that application. Sebenza did a good job of course, but Inyoni was GREAT. Pure performance. It is thinner and slimmer than Sebenza, delivers very precize cuts, feels great in hand thanks to "side serrations". And the angled edge serration cuts through bones & spine without any effort. Just press slighly, draw the knife and it's done instantly! I'm really amazed with the performance of Inyoni in the intended use! I'll keep it for sure in my tackle box. It's worth EVERY penny!

Ohhh, the trouts... they did a great job on our plates as well in the evening!

great review!

i would also like to state that in every thread of yours, you really appear to be a great man, father, and husband. good job. :)

Great pics. I just happened to use my Sebenza today in fish cleaning duties as well - crappie not trout though. Very serviceable job. Quick question though.. what pack is pictured in this pic? I like it a lot.

That crispy skin on the fish looks so good. Hope you didn't discard those!

Piter,
Just thinking about the Inyoni today, as a matter of fact. My friend and I are going to start fishing for 'real' now that we're both retired and can get out there just about anytime we want. I think I'll be getting an Inyoni ASAP. Thanks for taking the time to do the comparison.

...and that's a beautiful family you have there.

I've been thinking about getting one for a long time to go with my small classic.
