Hey dudes.. I got so many nice comments on my Native vid, I thought I'd do another one!

Please check 1-5 stars on the youtube page, and post here with anything I left out (that has not been covered on another youtube vid), and I'll make another vid!

THANKS FOLKS!!!

Nice video! You might have left some things out, but what you went over was very good.
I am lucky that I didn't have to decide between a SnG or a Sebenza, I got both! :D

A realist, I like your style

These things are addictive man, get yourself a SMF soon ;)

funny... 25 views of this thread, and 71 views on youtube in an hour... I can't imagine where any of the other views would have come from! SOMEONE's counter is pretty inaccurate!

I linked the video to at least 5 people :D

I didn't know that about the Chris Reeze "Sebenza" warranty. "flicking the knife or opening it a little hard" ha ha ha

jeez man I'm glad you mentioned that  . No doubt I would of bought one sooner or later. Now, no way! I'll be sticking with the latest generation Strider frame lock designs

Enjoyed your video.
Like you, I have both, several of both.
Good size for my hand.
I lean a little towards the Sebenza though, flatter, hollow ground, I carry it a lot for hunting, cowboy type work. Less of a tactical look. I don't flick 'em much. Sturdy tip counts for a lot. CRK has won every knife industry quality award ever invented. They have earned their reputation. I've had absolutely impeccable service from CRK.
That said, I'm a huge fan of Striders. Have several. Great users or you can get REAL fancy if you want to! I've had great service from them too. They are harder to take apart! But I like the handle shape and finger choil on the blade, makes it easy to control the tip.
If I were on a desert island, I might go for the strider too!

Nice review.

(If you throw a hoodie on, you could easily pass as Phil Laak's twin brother...)

I think you did a good job there. I also have an SnG and a Sebbie and I pretty much agree with most things you said.

Nice review.. just got my first Sebenza few weeks ago and immediately became my favorite folder.

Excellent review, honest, informative and genuine.

Both knives are great tools to have and use.

Thanks for making the video clip,

Jules

Thanks, Brutha!
Sold my Strider--- My Sebenza is in the drawer.
In my pocket is a WT #2. ;)

It seems that "stoutness" is measured between these knives by the pivot pin and the blade thickness... however Im thinking that if neither of those features will bend (in a hypothetical prying situation) then the energy will end up in the slabs(handle) of the knife. I wonder which is stronger, a ti slab from the sebenza vs. the un-lined g-10 slab from the Sng. I guess what Im really wondering is if you took a piece of ti and a piece of g-10 (same thickness), and put them in a vice, which one is stronger? Hey Archie, maybe you can make a new video.. hammer these two knifes into a tree and stand on them so we can find out for sure..LOL

I thought your CRK vs SnG video was well done, honest and helpful to most anyone needing that information. I learned some new stuff from it... it has me doing some more reading on the pros & cons of frame lock knives. Also, good comments about blade shape and use.

I don't know if I'll spend the $$$ for a Sebenza but I love the simplicity of the design and the way it easily comes apart for cleaning and maintainence. But you fairly pointed out that the CnG is a similar designed, rugged and built to endure most any task.

Thanks!

The weak link of these knives is the screws.. I wound not abuse either..
