I almost threw up when I saw it. :barf:

What do all of you think?

I personally have strayed away from combo edge knives, as I just don't cut that much that requires serrations.

I think for some it might be a necessity.

I do not like the way it looks on the Sebenza.

+1 to all those points.

CRK has gone downhill with this offering. Probably marketed toward the "discerning police officer/fireman/search & rescue...." :thumbdn:

What? As far as I know they have always offered serrations as an option to standard models.

How does this option mean the company has gone down hill?

I'm not a Sebenza guy so excuse my naïveté :)

That's an extremely harsh assessment of an entire company for someone who's not a "Sebenza guy."

A little sensitive this morning are we?

I'm not used to seeing serrations cut in this manner - they are a little "toothy" - I would be interested in hearing if anyone has this or any other knife that has them cut like this.

How do they perform?

I don't care for serrations. BUT, with that said, I think CRK has the best serrations in the business.

Get one and you will be.;)

I think they're pretty sexy.

But then again, I really like the micarta sebbies, so that might be part of it.

personaly I like the serrations that crk does due to the fact that you can sharpen them on a bench stone due to the flat teeth. I do however prefer a plain edged knife... but if I needed a combo edge these would be my choice for serrated style (and I do own one)

just my .02

You're probably right mmarkh. I've never seen one with serrations in pics here before and haven't considered that price point in a folder for myself.

I had an extra $400 so I bought a Busse BWM. It seemed to make more sense. I know you guys dig your Seb's - so rock on with them!

why the op needs to puke about company for being different leaves me confused... should all knives be done the same?

I prefer plain edge but I’ve no doubt that CRK does serrations with the same attention to detail and focus on quality that they display with all their knives.
