Who out there would like to see a Sebenza 21/classic style handle with a Regular Sebenza Profile Blade ??? I believe the " P Sebenza " was like this. I really like the 21/classic handle, but hate the 21 blade profile. I love the regular sebenza blade profile, the handle is great too, but I think the 21/classic handle and Regular Blade Profile is the best of both worlds..........What do you guys think ???

i prefer both the regular blade profile and handle shape.

i would like to see a full flat grind, thumb disc (or different thumbstud), and a satin blade as an option on a plain model.

also would be great to see "special" editions using various other cpm steels: d2, m4, s90v, etc.

and while we're at it, how about a g10/ti scaled version for the more budget minded?

I agree with everything MORIMOTOM has said. The Seb's thumb stud does not function well, and I find the S30V is much too soft.

A flat grind (with shallow secondary bevel) M4 Regular with a decent thumb stud would be my ideal Seb.

I would like a flat grind regular profile blade.

I like the Classic handle, but the blade is too narrow and pointy for me.

I like the regulars over the classics for blade and handle shape too. The one thing I don't like
about either is the thumb studs. I just change them anyway so it's not that big a deal.

I am not sure what the future holds for CRK, but I have a feeling that the discontinuation of the One Piece Range will free up some resources to allow some additional models and/or options to become available. Maybe they'll even announce some new options/models (hopefully a Small Umnumzaan) at SHOT Show next week.

+1:thumbup:On everything you've said.
Do you have any photo's of the studs you're using, and installation method?

This is my small regular with BM mini grip studs, they needed a bit of thinning down to fit the Seb blade though.

That's funny, just last night I was experimenting with my two large Sebs (one Regular, one Classic). If anyone is wanting to see pics I can snap a few and post here of a Classic frame with Regular blade and a Regular frame with a Classic blade :)

I think the Classic blade may be a bit too long for the Regular, i.e. the blade tip may extend past the handle when closed.

Sorry for the long wait. Bob was right, the Classic blade is just a little too long for the Regular frame. The tip doesn't stick out, but it can definitely get snagged in the pocket. I tried to show the length difference in the last shot...

I would like the old regular blade shape in a Classic/21 body. The bumpy ridges on the lockbar start to get uncomfortable after a few hundred openings and closings. The Classic seems more ergonomic in this regard, but the blade tip is awfully pointy.

Personally, I prefer the classic blade to the regular...But 'tis only my opinion.

What I would like to see is a backspacer option for all the folders (sans Mnandi).
Choice of thumbstuds would be a decent option as well..

I wish CRK still made the Umfaan.

That kind of ducks the Regular/Classic/21 debate! :D

Was there ever a left-hand Umfaan? I've seen a couple of mentions in old posts, but when I used the Wayback Machine to look at old CRK pages I didn't seen any mention of a lefty Umfaan.

Since we are all dreamin here...my wet one would be a S35VN flat grind in a classic.

OK, I'll be happy with a S30V flat grind in a classic. :)

I'm soaked and can't wake up...how bout a set...Classics....large ,small, imfaan all flat grind. :jerkit:  :D

I could go for a Regular blade in a Classic body.
I could go for a Flat Ground blade.
I could go for a Benchmade style thumbstud. (did it to my Regulars)

I can't see any of the above hapening:rolleyes:, when you have it "made" already why change ,takes too much effort. Too bad.:(
