Sebenza with a sticky lockbar

hey guys,

I got a very used sebenza today and have been going about refurbing it and cleaning it, but the one thing that is really killing me is the sticky lockbar...its pretty tough to disengage...i know i will have to send it into the spa but was just wondering if there was any fix for this? any tips would be very appreciated

Some people will rub a pencil on the tang and end of the lockbar. I would probably just send it in though.

Lock bar probably needs to be reheat treated. Send her in for a refurb

Was it sticky when you got it or after your cleaning job.

I have the experience with my 2 sebenza's they don't like a "lot" of oil.
So i use the pencil trick as stated above and it works for me.

I had a small that had this problem on and off but it would stick soo bad when new it took 2 hands to disengage it sometimes
