I was wondering if anyone knew if there were any dealers around the kc mo.area that carried sebenzas, after all the posts about them I have to have one, thought maybe I could find one in town instead of ordering one.
thanks

I too got great service from KnifeArt and highly recomend them. I also got great service from True North Knives when I ordered a Sebenza from them as well. Those are two places that always seem to have many nice peices in stock and are great to deal with.

I've never seen any Chris Reeve knives in town at any Brick n Mortar stores. I do see them at knife shows, on occasion. There is a show in Gardner Kansas on Feb. 14 and 15 at the Johnson County Fairgrounds. I don't know how big a show this will be, and whether or not there will be Sebenzas, but it might be worth a look. If you do find a dealer in the area, let me know, as I have a hard time finding anything less than retail.

Hey, welcome to the Forums. There are quite a few Kansas City knife knuts on here.

Im glad to hear you are getting a sebbie, but now here is the down side...there is usually a 3 monthe wait. You can try to call around to see if anyone has them in stock, but thats a long shot.

I just called CRK (what a novel approach!) and they have no dealers in MO. LOTS of online purveyors have them, though, and of course the often come and go on the Forum (I have a small Classic 2000 and a small Solar Wind I have been thinking of selling).

Good Evening All-

LIKESEMSHARP, welcome to BladeForums!

When in doubt, simply conduct a SEBENZA SEARCH on the forum. People occasionally post information about that brand of folding knife.

There may be a three month wait to get one direct from CRK but they are easy to get other places. I know for a fact that True North Knives and KnifeArt have some in stock (if it's pictured on the site, then it's almost always in stock. They are good at keeping it up to date) I've bought one from each place and both were really easy to deal with. Check both out and see who has what your looking for.

I just got a large within 3 days from KnifeCenter.com. Looks like they still have several styles in stock, too.

I'd highly recommend Spoon River Cutlery. His inventory control is tied to the site, if you can add it to the cart, its in stock. He's priced 5%-15% lower than most other mail order sites I've found (not specifically on the sebbie, but on most brands in general). I've ordered several items from Walter, the owner (2 William Henry's, a Spydie Calypso Jr. and most recently a Streamlight light).

I just added the small Sebenza to the cart. Priced at $290 with free shipping. He's always my first choice when ordering online.

Wanted to add that Walt Krafft,AKA, Spoon River Cutlery is a pleasure with which to do business. He never fails to answer a question you send his way and from the time you place an order until it has arrived on your doorstep he clearly means what he says about Great Service begins with Great Communication. If you don't see what you're looking for in his site it is very likely he can obtain it. Don't hesitate to ask. I can't say enough about the 'communication' aspect of doing business with SRC. Doing business on the net has to have an easy back and forth since you can't walk into the 'store' and talk face to face with someone. I could elaborate still more but should you give SRC a try, that will say it all. Thanks :)

just got my large classic from spoon river cutlery today, ordered it sunday night and got it tuesday great service. thanks for the info.
