Anyone here know if you take a stock RH large or small Seb and have a double lug, if its easy to open left handed (easy, meaning after you get used to using a Sebbie in the first place)

Regards

Chris :D

Chris, I've tried it. First, 3 considerations:
  • my EDC is a large RH regular sebbie
  • I'm not LH'ed, and
  • I didn't put significant practice time into the routine you bring up.
With those caveats stated, I found a RH double thumb lug small sebbie to be difficult and uncomfortable to open with my left hand.

I have medium hands Fooj, and though I'm right handed, find the right stud easy to open left handed. Ambidextrious as I am helps I suppose. I try and get all my Sebs with duel lugs. The cutout(indention) on the lock side does help a bit.

It may be that I am particularly klutzy with my left hand. :) Chris, sounds like the double thumb lug makes for good ambidextrious operation. I'll have to pull out one of my double thumblug sebbies and practice.

I am sure that a double thumb stud would be very easy to open. I want to send in all my Sebbies to have dual thumb studs put on, as I am very ambidextrous.

I would like to see all sebenzas come standard with the double lug.
