Well it finally came! Lovin' this knife! My work monitor shows the snakewood as being more red then they truly are. 8 week turnaround. No gold on this one either, gold only wears off as it gets used.
Anyhoo - unfortunately it cost a pretty prenny so I'm out for Wednesday's Ganzaaa. That really sucks too as that's pretty much my grail Busse.

*PSA - if you remove the lanyard, the silver stud will fall out!

Never been a big fan of wood handles (or wood inlays)...but, that just looks NICE and classy! :thumbup:

VERY nice sebbie bro, congrats.

It won't pry like a Busse, but it's still a great folder, nice choice.

I feel since Busse does not "yet" make a folder that a CR sebbie fills the gap nicely

I think your new knife looks great! Way out of my price range (for a folder) but I always admire those of you who pick these up.

Just very nice looking knives! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
 
Haven't gotten into to the Chris Reeves knives that much except for a Pacific I picked up last year.. very nice knife.. but not a busse... I'm sure all of us HOG would love a Busse folder, but in the mean time we search for a nice carry knife... I haven't had a chance to hold a Sebenza, but here are a couple which have caught my fancy. a spyderco military, Benchmade Rukus and mini rukus, a Benchmade AFO "usmc issue" and a auto knife of interesting manufacture

Purely based on the size and manufacturer of the knives you show here, you're a perfect candidate for a large Sebenza.
I'm a Spyderco/Benchmade guy folder guy and been through my fair share of each. They're on top of their game for production folders and I've had some of their best. I'm floored by the Sebenza. It's big, smooth, and the fit and finish is by far the most perfect I've ever seen in a folder, you should try one.

I sold mine with wood inlays and went for the micarta when it came out.
I got the first one they sold(at Blade 06), the small, and have carried it everyday since. I carried the Blasted screws with me and changed them at the table.
If Busse ever makes one I hope it will have a straight handle like the Sebbie.

455 give or take. You can find them online, gpknives.com, newgraham.com, or even ordering directly from Chris Reeve which is whta I'd probably suggest. That way you can add the options YOU want to make it YOUR knife.

Is it affordable? Depends. Is a Busse affordable? I sold off a D2 Paramilitary and a Ritter Griptilian to help fund it and I'll never look back.

You will love the sebbie fbusmc, and once you get one you will wonder why you didnt have one sooner.
