Sebenza's are junk (not)

I thought the subject would be an attention getter. My question is this: When I've saved enough for a Sebenza (I'm not sure if large or small), can I send it back to CR later on for a wood inlay or do I have to wait and save another couple hundred and buy one with the inlay. Also, is the inlay on both sides and how wear, scuff, scratch resistant are the inlays?

Dan, I have never heard of Reeves doing that, The Wood inlays are limited by nature/design. You should have no trouble selling the plain if you want to get an inlay though as you stated the concern for wear might dictate having a plain which can be "refinished" and an inlay for lighter/less messy use. That said I have carried a wood for a while and not had a problem in normal use. I stay away from sand, chemicals and such.If you search the forums Reeve's states some suggested limitations on the inlay-hope this helps-God Bless-paul
