i have been asking alot of questions lately but could i get some help with buying a sebbie. i know that you can get:

small or large

regular or classic

normal or swedge

and then all the other extra trimmings ie micarta, damascus, engraving etc

he bead blasts them, i was under the impression that that was a low grade finish but i guess it must look good enough to be on them.

i also believe that the classic has a bigger cutaway for th e liner lock??

does this affect things atall?

oh yeah, r the thumb studs on both sides?
or are double thumbstuds on on certain models?

the liner lock seems to me to look like the benchmade monolock, is that true? it looks like there is no actual liner much like the monolock.

ive heard people saying that they dont see what all the fuss is about.. calling them plain in a bad way. tell me, what r all the things that you LOVE about sebenzas??? what make them so great?i am getting hungry for one though...

The Classic was one of the first designs of the Sebenza. It was modified in 1996 to its current style. Dual thumb lugs are a special order and cost extra to add. The Classic style of opening and the Regular style work the same way and nothing is affected in its effectiveness as a lock. The BM monchrome uses the same lock design as the Sebenza, not the other way around. The Sebenza has had that lock since 1990. For more info read up on these pages from CRK's website.

Good luck in your decision. Either way you won't be disappointed. :)
