The 2nd PiF buildoff is currently underway, with another 3 custom knife designs this year. Here is a link;

I hope that you collectors, knifemakers and unclassifiable members of this forum take an interest in this year's buildoff, and do what you can to support it. Even just spreading the word is of great help.
So far, The Wounded Warriors Foundation has been the most prominent recipient of funding this year, and 3 River Blades has gone the extra mile to officially register with the Foundation. Here is a youtube clip describing his involvement;

Now, the point of the PiF is not to go out of your way to make a huge impact. The whole idea is to do small things that help other people out, and hopefully they will Pay your kindness Forward. This is a movement, a revolution. And it's easy because generosity and reciprocity is in our nature.
