Hi everyone I was feeling quite down due to an on-going medical reasons so to distract myself I made a sheath for my Busse son of Badger. The design is based on Horsewright's renouned pancake sheaths:

I am also thinking of getting a Busse active duty for my next knife so I'm hoping to make a stack pouch sheath like the burgundy one below. So the same shield shape but with stingray inlay like the black sheaths in the post below. Sorry I know I've posted pictures of the sheaths before:

Paul (Long, aka Sheathsmaker) thank you very much for the tips you gave me a week or so ago. I've implemented both aspect of your advice and the weave looks substantially better.

Dave (Ferry, aka Horsewright) thank you very much for your advices and letting me use your pancake design. I see why you love them so much its ridiculously comfortable :)

A word of thank you to JDieseljoe69 who sold me the knife on the exchange. It is absolutely lovely and what's more was that when the delivery was taking its time, you phoned USPS for me to follow it up. Thank you very much for that it was really nice of you :)

Sweet. Do you have a pic of it on a belt. That might be just what I need for my Infimandu.

Thanks again for the kind words everyone :)

Here are the belt shots u812. I made the belt out of Latigo (same type of leather as the sheath) so you can probably see the colour that the sheath will age into.

If anybody has a choice of getting a sheath made in latigo I would definitely recommend it. The leather develops a nice shiny patina and is one of my favourite leathers :)

Great job, looks good.

I wish I had that kinda talent. Great Job.

Though the knife looks like a battle mistress on you

Cheers Tom and Cobalt :)

Yup Tom 2 evenings worth of work!

Thanks Cobalt :) and indeed! I am pretty small to start with being Anglo-Japanese but the knife does look magnified for some reason

! May be my SOB is oversized! Cobalt send me your SOB for comparison followed by proper disposal! :P

Thanks for the compliment Ladams19 :)

I am still learning the ropes however and I'm nowhere near as good as the artisans that lurk here and in the sheaths and such sub forum. I hope I can reach their league one day. :)
