Very nice blade... its a great blade because its a combo between a short hatchet, bush knife, and splitting maul... I think that about says enough... Surprisingly, the other day I was trying to split a log with one of my hatchets... and the dang thing would not make it through... so I happened to have a recon scout sitting real close... tried it... and it got bound up worse that the hatchet... and this was not a big piece of wood at all... just really dense, dry, and hard... So I quickly came to my senses... grabbed my BK2... and popped that sucker easy with a satisfying crack...
This thread needs pics... and it also needs your pics when your knife comes in....

Congratulations. My second was a 2 as well, and I've used it more than my first (which, fittingly was the 9). What is your first Becker?

As much as I love my 2, I have yet to find a role for it in my becker lineup...but then again, I have yet to really beat on it and, more importantly, baton with it. I can imagine it's a great splitter. Grab some micarta scales for it while you're waiting. Cheers.
