I just picked up a new Centennial 110 and noticed that there are no numbers on the blade to figure out when it was manufactured. The only thing I see is a symbol which looks like an anvil under where it says buck on the blade. Not saying it is an anvil but that's what it looks like to me anyway.

Thanks for any and all help on this.

It is an anvil all right. It is the date stamp for 2002, the centennial year. It has also been used after 2002 for custom knives from the Shoppee.

Good stuff, thanks for setting me straight on that. Did I greatly over pay for the knife at $50? I could have shopped around more I am sure but given that the place (True Value) was 3 minutes from my house I just couldnt refuse. Besides, regardless of what I could have gotten it for I feel that $50 was a steal for a knife of this quality.

Thanks.
