But actually third chance. The blade of this knife is another one from a buggy spring. It went from the spring to a larger blade and after forging it there was one huge pit I knew I couldn't make go away so I cut the good part off the front and forged this blade out of it. It has a 4 1/2" blade and the fittings are from a buggy wheel with an exceptional piece of sambar stag for the handle. Its 9 1/2" overall.

Best guess as far as the steel goes is 1075. For sure not 5160. I'm going to send a piece in to get checked out.
