Second ESEE knife added to kit

I neeed a knife for my military kit. I looked at the ESEE-3 through ESEE-6 and decided on the ESEE-5. I got busy and realized I had not purchased my knife and started to look around.

Found this today:

I can now add this to my Izula and have a great pair for my kit.

Good quality knifes are hard to beat. Thanks ESEE!

My 3rd was a HEST, now I'm looking at a Junglas - while I wait for the HEST folder.

It is funny I'm torn about tactical knives. My military background keeps me thinking tactically but then sometimes I don't want to have a knife that looks tactical. Maybe I'll have some wood scales made like this....

Or all of the above. I think I had tryed or tested just about any knife made. When I came here, I had seen all of this talk (and nothing bad) about Esee. Well I listened to the informed opinions, and bought and tested a Junglas. I gotta say its one of the Toughest, best edge holding, good lookin, great grip, and on and on----. So I ordered a 6, and should get it today or the next. (gotta go back to e-mail tracking) You Guys got me Hooked on Esee.. Oh I ordered a fire-kit as well. Tests to come. (Can you support my bank account so I can buy all of them

Congrats on the -5 find! My second ESEE arrived today. I picked up the -6 to go along with the H.E.S.T.

The 5 is on my list, as is the entire Esee line. Started about 2 weeks ago. Just received 4 and 5.
1st-RC-3
2nd-H.E.S.T.
3rd-Izula
4th-Lite Machete
5th Izula

Duplicates??? Damn.

My first two were Izulas...then an ESEE 4, and finally an ESEE 3MIL....next, the rest.

Yeah - when you start matching the Izula color to your tactical theme of the day then you know you got it REAL bad.

My wife realized last night just how bad my knife addiction is. Going through the mail I received a AG Russell catalog and a Fredericks catalog. She was so shocked to find I went for the AG Russell catalog first!
