Second Gen BK2?

I just read a post about a Second Gen BK2. I have a BK2, I got it about 3 years ago. What is the difference between mine and a Second Gen?

They haven't changed the BK7 any have they?
 
Mine has the striker, I mostly asked this to make sure they are still 1/4 an inch thick and not flat ground or something. I took the coating off mine and could care less about stampings or etchings.

All I need is the BK7 and I have the set. I am not into the five so they can do as they please with that.

What I want is a D2 16 with glued on G10 grips.

I would carry it and the 9 exclusively.
 
Your good get a BK7 the current one has the new coating and laser etch and a molle sheath. BK2 is still 1/4 :D
 
YYou're not "into" the 5 because you've never had one. When I first discovered the Becker greatness & drank the Kool Ade, I thought the 5 was kinda weird for a "camp" knife. I really didn't change my mind until I got one. The 5 is an awesome knife. If you don't believe me try one out. If you really don't like it I'll buy it from you.
Just sayin'.....

I have no real problem with the 5 its just that I have Old Hickory knives that can do its choir so I have never messed with it.

I know the 5 is cool but I just am not into it.
