DROMEDARY CAMEL---WHAT IN THE WORLD IS SHE TALKING ABOUT???????
This knife is called Dui Jure. Raj, our Shop Manager, likens the spine to a two humped camel and as you can see in the picture that is just what it looks like. The knife is handcrafted by Dil B. Kami whose work is always outstanding. The handle is Sisau wood ---smooth, dark brown with a deep reddish tone (like a camel??) .The buttcap, guard and tip are brass with the guard a heavier brass.
Overall length-15 1/8 "
Weight-21 oz.
Full Tang Blade
The scabbard is Black Buffalo leather with 4 snaps including the belt fastener. The back is an open (not like the khukuri) scabbard. Price $140.00 *SOLD*

Beautiful and wicked at the same time. Definately added to my list, but right now there are a few other knives I'm waiting to jump on (ouch!).
 
_Very_ nice handle! Really good work. Dil seems to really know his stuff. The sheath is also very good looking and seems to be of stouter leather than usual, and well stitched. I think I might like it more without the humps, but it is still a cool knife. Good snag Gary. :thumbup:

I actually employ warp drive and three psychics to pounce on items before they are actually offered .

At the risk of sounding pedantic the Dromedary (Arabian) camel has only one hump. The Bactrian (Asian) camel is the one with two humps.
 
I'm afraid I just don't get it.... :confused: Please someone explain this to me. Use simple sentences and avoid big words.
