That's a nice pair. The blue M390 para is my main user, love that knife.
Just to clarify. They both are not sprint runs. The green one is a distributor exclusive and the blue is a dealer exclusive.
Sprint runs are done only once. When the're gone they are gone.

Just like he said they are not by definition a "Sprint Run"
They are a limited item that at the discretion of the orginal contract holder can be reproduced..
Sprint Runs are something that Spyderco does on there own and once they are gone that's it...
Your new knives are awesome but are more available (at elevated secondary market price) than a true sprint..

Thats interesting info thanks! So how come people keep calling them sprints, is that just something people started calling the harder to get spydercos?
They call them that out of convenience I suppose .. They are a limited production so its easier to say sprint then dealer exclusive ...
Both of the knives you have we're every bit as hard to get as a true sprint when they came out but in the case of the m390 they did make more ... As of now I am not aware of a second batch of the cts204p but I think they would be fools not to...
I really want a s90v para2 as a user but they are just to ridiculous in price for me and as a true sprint its not coming back which sucks as I'd pay Southard type $ if it were in production oh well..
