Second sheath for my 16

I made my second sheath recently, another one for my 16.

Learned some things from my first attempt like not using Neatsfoot oil compound (nasty stuff). This sheath only has color from solar radiation and a couple of coats of all natural Montana Pitch Blend leather dressing. I didn't forget the ferro loop on this one! I also cut out one layer of leather as it just was not necessary (wet formed handle to sheath instead) which made the sheath less blocky. Hope you like. What a great forum.

Looking Good! I've seen, and bought, sheaths that weren't that well done.
Congrats on a new addiction! :D

Thanks Bobber.

Yep, my second sheath ever. Not my second craft project though. Been building and modifying stuff my whole life, scale models, cars, bikes, etc.

I find leather really fun to work with, it cuts and carves well, being able to glue and stitch to assemble things is nice too and not that hard. Endless possibilities. Right now I am at the "copy what you like" stage. When I get some spare time (yeah right) maybe I can get creative.
