I've had a Kumo for several years, it's a great knife that I've enjoyed tremendously. I finally got around to getting my second Spyderco, a Southard, and can't wait for it to get here! I'm very interested in seeing how it stacks up to my other knives in that price range, particularly my ZT 561.

There aren't very many Spydercos in the range of the ZT 0561, mostly because of size. However there are a lot of good Spydercos. I have a couple of PM2's and a Gayle Bradley. Compared to the 0561 they are different but they have their own good points. All of these are less expensive than the 0561. For reference- my PM2 is in my EDC rotation along with a Spyderco Gayle Bradley and a couple of Benchmades, and my 0561. Compared to the 0561 some of the Spydercos will seem very light and minimalist but they are very functional and the light weight is part of their beauty.

I think if you are biased towards frame locks you will like the 0561 more. I don't mind liner locks so I am happy with the other knives too.
